De Haagse Cirkel
Dec. 2017 - Feb. 2018
De Haagse Cirkel is a learning traject based on design thinking where professionals involved use a different way of working. MV Service design and Jaap Warmenhoven of Twynstra Gudde together supervised the learning traject 'verbeterd in de zorg'. Various groups worked together on a new way to improve healthcare in The Hague.
These groups investigated how WMO care can respond to the needs of residents. One of the pilots that emerged from this learning traject has already started. There are plans for a meeting in which citizens help design to convert the perspectives into better pilots and actions.
"Embracing dependence creates opportunities for new relationships"
Together with several other young designers I was asked to support one of the groups with visualizing the experiences, introducing concrete actions/pilots to reach a wider network and provide support during the final presentation. The group I guided during this learning traject was 'De herwaardering van afhankelijkheid'. We created interaction, dialogue and discussion about positive dependence, through a concept sprint. During the final presentation visitors actively participated in the concept sprint, in which interaction, dialogue and discussion about personal positive dependence were created. We came up with several statements which gave the group guidelines for the next steps.
